The Ugly Mug Tavern sits just steps from Tallulah Falls Gorge — one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in the eastern United States.
Carved nearly 1,000 feet deep through ancient quartzite cliffs, Tallulah Falls Gorge roars with six major waterfalls and stretches almost two miles through the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains. It is one of the oldest gorges on the continent and one of Georgia's most awe-inspiring state parks.
After a hike along the canyon rim, a suspension-bridge crossing, or simply a drive through the Appalachian foothills — our doors are open. Sit down, catch your breath, and let us take care of the rest.
